What to do in Leeds

When we visited Leeds last year, we just had two days in hand! Wondering, what could be the best places to visit, we were amazed to find so many fabulous destinations in the city. As we started our tour, we fell in love with the lovely place. There are some of the best restaurants, bars, shops, clubs and theatres where you can spend your time. The local landscape is worth exploring with so many options of sightseeing.


Here are some of the best ways to spend your time when you are in Leeds.


Visit The Roundhay Park – The Park is spread over an area of more than 700 acres. There are two lakes just in the centre of this park. This is the perfect place for picnics, playing games, wandering around and enjoying time with your family and friends. The beautiful landscaped gardens offer a picturesque surrounding.


Temple Newsam – This temple has plenty on offer to the visitors. This is known to be the birth place of Lord Darnley and is the centre for several religious activities.


Woodhouse Moor Skate Park – This is one of those parks which are completely free. This is the place where you can try skateboarding, BMX-ing and rollerblading – some of the most popular extreme sports which are quite popular here.


Yeadon Tarn – For those who are in search of some cheap days, this is the perfect destination. This is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll through the deep woods. There is also a bowls court in the region. Live brass bands are something to look forward to as well.


Nature Parks – There are several nature reserves in Leeds. These are the places where you will spot some of the best unique flowers and animals, which you have not ever seen before.


Leeds Waterfront Heritage Trail – Spend a perfect day in the Leeds waterfront trail. This is a wonderful walk down the river, as you get a glimpse of the industrial development of the city.
